Training and other interventions are usually trying to change a behavior. The Kirkpatrick model of evaluation looks at reaction, learning, behavior, and results. The immediate analysis of reactions to interventions, like the Excel Training Analysis below, allows us to adjust and improve the intervention. Other data points such as adoption metrics, surveys, engagement data, and performance reviews can help us understand if we are seeing the longer term behavior change and results we were targeting.
